THE BRUNSON.

Baker Film Co. led full production for a DoorDash collaboration with Jalen Brunson and Action Bronson — a New York–driven food series celebrating local delis through culture, personality, and taste. Hosted by Action Bronson, the project was built for YouTube and social, blending sports, food, and entertainment in a studio-controlled environment.

DELIVERABLES

Two-day studio production with a dedicated pre-light and set build, followed by a full shoot day. The setup allowed for efficient coverage and kept the focus on chemistry, pacing, and performance. Three local delis were featured, with one sandwich ultimately crowned “The Brunson.”

EXECUTION

The series delivered culturally fluent branded content rooted in New York food culture, pairing an elite NBA athlete with an iconic culinary voice. The result was a highly shareable, personality-driven piece that reinforced DoorDash’s role in discovering local favorites.
